Almost intact small wheel retrieved in 1957 in the west Roman cistern on the Acropolis south slope. It has eight spokes and a pierced central hub.

Wheel models were usually dedicated at shrines rather than whole chariots. They could also have been hung on tree-branches within the sanctuary precincts and whirled round as a symbol of fortune changes or were used during magical ceremonies.
